Each day is shined and fully
excited for my wife, and me, as Aiza Khan has started to walk by her own-self.
The beautiful steps of her, tosses her body from left to right, when she walks.
She reaches there, where her heart takes her, whether that is authorized for
her to reach to, or not. Most of the time she is pushed back from un-authorized
rooms in my home. Lol. She takes our eyes far away, with her steps and jolly
moving small cute body. Her shoes support her, in her walk, as they are not
slippery and fit to her beautiful feet. She is no more staying with MOM, she
enjoys being out of lap and stand by her own to walk. Most often she falls
down, which takes our heart of body, but we then encourage each others, with
saying that it happens in this age. That’s the only bridge which strengthen out
love as a couple. Long Live Aiza Khan.

Walking and Talking
There is a famous saying, that walk to walk and talk
to talk. Further to explain there are, some people, who just walk while some
just talk, but there are some people who are walking and talking at the same
time. Aiza khan has turned 13 months and 22 days today. It took us way longer
to see, that she walks herself. Today
she has done it. I’m extremely thankful to my wife, Saima Sami for being
supportive all the way long to my daughter and me. I will never forget those
days, when she had sleepless nights, feeling down, when Aiza was not feeling
good, keep Aiza close to her chest when feel to love her. We both were feeling
over the moon to see that Aiza has walked 15 feet, with-out any support. We
bought her a pair of plastic shoes, which is lighter and easy putting on and
off. Also easy for her to walk in, in
the water and being out of water. What I love about Aiza is that, she walks and
talk. It builds my confidence that we both, me and my wife are enough lucky to
raise her up to this level, facing no issue at all. I’m extremely thankful to
my brothers, Saeed and Sibghat for helping Aiza going through this level. I’m
so much Happy. Here are few videos of Aiza.

My daughter to Nature:
Have you ever written one blog post for 7
weeks, editing, adding, deleting, changing, etc, and then ultimately deciding
to erase it because it just wasn’t right? Well, I have. And just did.
That post was about the first year of fatherhood,
and it was possibly too broad and yet too intimate of a thing
to really encapsulate in a ‘blog post’. I tried, I did, but I couldn’t seem to
nail it. (I kept it for me, don’t worry)
She’s 14 months old now. And she’s pretty much
the best – or so I say as she’s in her crib, asleep, acting like a total angel.
One should NEVER write blog posts when they are sitting in high chairs, looking
you in the eye, smiling while repeatedly dropping their sippy cup on the floor,
like a psychopath. Sleeping babies are the best blog post babies.
But she’s walking and talking (ish). her first
real word, where he intentionally pointed to something and said it was ‘shoe’,
and she says it in the most adorable way, more like ‘seeoow’. Since then she
has started adding a couple more words – dada, turtle, but she understands so
much.
What really mesmerize me, that she loves to
nature. She get fascinated to Trees, River, Chickens, Dogs, Birds, Cat and
least but more the last she speak to all of them, at her first sight. That is something,
which make my daughter so special to me. Secondly she loves to watch cartoon,
which is full of Green-backgrounds, Rivers, Animals and Trees.
My reason to live, every single day, is to be
the best version of myself for that baby. Many days I fail, but it’s a pretty
decent goal, right? Well that and to dress us all in coordinating tones of
blue, obviously.
When she Gets close to Plants
When she gets high to see the down world
When wants to spend much of her time, near to nature
before she goes down to see the things from close short.
The Great thing about her, is to play with Nature.
She stood near by Tree, and i love it the most.
She feels like to Jump-down from the bed.
thats her birds
She plays with Chicket.

Happy Birthday Aiza Khan
I‘ll never forget the first day that your Dad went back to work
after you were born, and I thought to myself, “Alright, Miss Blake, you and
I are in this together.” I had no idea what I was doing and I had no idea
what being a mother truly meant. My, how quickly things have changed.
In a way, we both grew together over the past year. You learned
many things, and I learned many things. You ebbed and I flowed, and in many
ways, you taught me more than I taught you.
And here you are, one year old – a thriving, beautiful baby girl
and you’re bigger than life, darling. And I love you more than life.
For the past year you’ve been my biggest worry and my biggest happiness. I stayed up at night researching things so I could always provide the best for you, and we spent every day together – laughing, dancing, singing and exploring this world, together. When I think of life before you, it feels like something was missing, as if I wasn’t yet complete. You made me complete, our sweet baby girl – our angel baby. And as you learned, I learned.
- You opened your eyes for the
first time and stared at me, and I learned what unconditional love meant.
I had never seen anyone or anything more beautiful.
- You learned to nurse, and I
quickly learned everything there is to know about milk supply, nursing
positions, latching and pumping.
- You learned to roll over,
and I learned not to scream in excitement every time you did, because that
scared you – but I was just so excited for you.
- You learned to laugh, and I
learned that your laugh was my new favorite sound in life.
- You learned to scream and I
learned that you were a girl who knew what she wanted.
- You learned to sit up and I
suddenly learned that you wouldn’t stay a baby forever.
- I took you to the zoo, the
aquarium, music class, sign language class, baby concerts and story times,
and you stared in awe at everything, soaking it all in. I learned how to
see the world through your eyes and suddenly, everything was amazing.
- You learned to say “Mama”
and “Dada” and “ball” and I learned you were one smart cookie.
- You learned to crawl and I
learned that nothing could ever get in your way…you were on a
mission, always.
- I showed you the ocean, and
you crawled straight into it – fearless, with purpose…you taught me that
you have the heart of a lion.
- You learned to eat solid
foods and I learned every nutritional fact about every food and cooked for
you every day so you could grow big and strong.
- You learned to pull yourself
up to stand and I learned not to hold my breath in anticipation of
your fall – I learned to breathe again.
- You learned to push your
little cart walking on your own, and I learned to let you go, my strong baby
girl.
And you and I have many, many more years of learning together, my
love. You will learn so much more in life, and I will learn how to support you
through each step.
We did it, Miss Blake – we survived the first year. Thank you for
the lessons, the laughter and changing me forever – you’re everything.
Happy 1st birthday, sweetheart.
