Billion Word and One Aiza Khan

Generally parents love their children regardless of gender. There are, however, differences in how the love is expressed. Human relationships within a family are always influenced by gender, position in family (first born, middle. youngest child) and temperament (Family members with similar temperament traits understand each other better). Gender works both ways. The child-parent relationship is special between a parent and a child of opposite sexes.  The father sees himself in his son, the mother in her daughter. This often leads to a lot of expectations and a stricter attitude towards the child on behalf of the parent of the same sex. The child also measures himself against the parent of the same sex. This amounts to disagreements accumulating between them during the teenage years as the young person seeks his/her identity and gradually established his/her independence. This can be especially fierce between father and son and even lead to profound disagreements, which only begin to milden, when the son reaches adulthood. The young male has to overpower the head of the herd.

Between parent and child of opposite sexes life is smoother and based on mutual admiration. The relationship gets more difficult with the appearance of girl/ boyfriends to shake the boat. A father tends to be strict towards anyone stealing his beautiful daughter from him and the mother thinks no one is good enough for her dear son. That’s my feelings for my Daughter. I always wished to have a daughter my first child and my wife was against my wish. But thanks God, I am blessed with a beautiful daughter, and I am a girly Girl’s father, with the hope that we are starting our life from the beginning again

Aiza Falls Off Bed

Most parents choose to put their child in the bassinet or crib during the first few years of life, but some parents want to enjoy the “family bed.” While bed-sharing might have benefits, especially for the breast-feeding mother, it can lead to dangers as well. One of those dangers is your baby falling off bed. That day I was reading feedbacks on my social media, sitting near by my Daughter on sofa, while her Mom was out for a small work. I was too deep in the Social Media that I could not manage focusing on Aiza, she was slowly tossing to the adage of the Bed, and suddenly a big sound and she was down on the Floor. OMG, She was lying down on the floor, being upside down, with no cry or screaming. That very moment I realized that small kids don’t call others for help; neither let the other realize that they are passing through a hard time or pain. She got her nose scratched, she was afraid and that was her first time in her life, that she has found, what is Fear? Her mum rushed back to room, hold her up closed to her chest and started crying. The moment Aiza found her mum is crying she started crying too. That was like why OMSG. That is the most helpless moment when you are also in trauma and still trying to pat someone, its ok, Nothing worsen happened. God bless all those small kids and keep them safe and secured in their early and later ages.  

The Second Eid of Aiza Khan

This was her second Eid to Celebrate, since she is born. She is enough lucky to have more dresses and shoes than her parents. Most of her gifts came around, from her Grand-Ma side. She did not show-up her face all the day long, as she was sleeping with a small breaks of eating her food.

She did not see the Cow being slaughtered, as normally small kids do watch, and she was not even interested to see the blood and innocent Cows to be slaughtered in front of her eyes. She is alien to killing and blood-shedding and we wish she grows up this way. The loveliest thing when she gets up from long sleep and her eyes and face is like more fresh than a fresh apple.

Her eyes remain as opened as possibly can be. When laughing her dimples increase her beauty. She wore new dress, but been sleeping in it, so could not enjoy her new dress on Eid Day. She is trying to speak with her own tone and language, which is no way understandable to any species of the world. She has two hard stages to go through, one is to have the teeth and second to start walking. We are very much finger-crossed, coz small kids lose much weight in the very era.
